I know there are a lot of selections of books on animation, C programming, and game design, but I don't know which one to get. Plus I am a Sophmore. I would love if anyone had some suggestions.
Oh, and about some affordable animation software that would be great! I want to know a little bit before I go to a video game school (such as DigiPen). That way it won't be as overwhelming! -Thank You So Much!! Last edited by Marisol : 06-21-2011 at 04:40 PM. Reason: I know this thread is for Programming, and that is my original purpose for posting, I need to learn some C! |

It be best to look through a selection and compare book reviews. Beginning C++ Through Game Programming is okay and C++ A Dialog is decent and free.
In terms of 3D modelling and animation software, Blender is currently the favoured choice for free.
