Well, first I'm a high school freshman. I'm in the magnet program which "attracts" the brightest students in the state to study science, math, and technology. I've never had an interest in 3D design, I thought programming would be my thing. But inadvertently, I fell in love with 3D modeling. I don't know why, but watching things materialize at my whim and mastery has lit a spark in me.
I know it's a while away, but which courses should I take to experiment with this field? My school offers many technology courses, like programming, web design, and Auto-CAD. Looking further down the road, what colleges offer respected 3D modeling courses? And which companies offer the best opportunities? I know by the time I actually go to college, video games will have changed faces many times over, but I would still like some information... |

Wow! No answer to your question. Wish I could help you out but I'm in the same boat as you are. Good luck!

memauriceo, do you have something you want to ask? Just ask it. Perhaps you will get an answer (I can't say offhand why "chaorace" didn't).
