Hi, I am new to these forums but anyway I am a senior in high school and I am wanting to eventually go into level design as a career but I am not sure how to do this. I was planning to go to college and get a BS or BA in Graphic Design but I was not sure where to go from there. Is this even a good idea to get a Bachelors in Graphic Design? And what other classes do I need to take in college to become a level designer?

Graphic design is far from level design.

Graphic Design is completely irrelevant to level design, if you want to have a go at level design have a play around with the Unreal Engine or start with something like Game Maker, this will help you build basic level design skills. If you want to do Graphic Design and somehow get into the gaming industry you should have a look at Game Art courses.
