Game music composer looking...

for a company that might be interest in my work. I've been working on song for about 5 years now, and now my song are generally becoming accepted by the public. Before now, I wasn't really interested in having my songs included in a game, though they remained close to the theme of video games, but I was advised by a few people that I should show my work to a few game designers to have them use my work...

I would agree with the advice you received and that is you should present your work to game designers. This approach, in my opinion, will save you alot of time and energy.
