degree for game design

Hi,

I have some question about game designer.
I'm interesting design game.

I have worked as the graphic designer so many years. I very like to play the game. So if it is possible, I want work at the game industry.

My first question is....

What type of degree would best prepare for game design?
And How long do I have to study, and Where can I study at?

I heard that it is difficult to learn.
But I graduated fine art university, and have computer graphic skill.
So, I think this is good for me.

Any good advices....
