Working on a concept and artwork, just need a good idea on whats out there for me to use program wise.
So, are there 'starter' programs out there for someone like myself to use to better develop his skills? |

To Tom's list I would add the relatively recent StencylWorks, which lets you create Flash games. Coding is done through a system of interlocking 'drag and drop' parts. I tend to use this as well as Game Maker 8 or Game Maker HTML5 while I am teaching myself ActionScript.
