Default Level/Environment Design Regarding Schools

Hi,
I've been looking at a variety of schools lately that specialize in Level/environment design.

I've come across a few issues. Level design has been under both an art and science. I understand that there is a mixture of coding and art, but I'm having trouble finding a school with the correct description I am looking for.

Under the "online counselor" I don't know whether I should be searching "game design" or "game art".

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Edit: I've been playing around with Unity and Cinema 4D. So far I have checked out Full Sail, Art institute of Pittsburgh, and Westwood Colleges.

You can go to any college. Study architecture, art, programming, and writing.
You don't need to go into excessive student loan debt with a specialized degree.

Is it all about connections? I've started to build a portfolio but not much to back up on it. I've been taking some 3D design and game design classes at a community college to help me get a head start if I do go to a major college
