Video game journalism?

First of all, I saw the other thread and didn't want to steal his thread to ask this. My theory is basically the same I didn't do too well in school.
English: D
Maths: C
Science: B

But I have always had a possion for gaming and writing about games in general. I can write articles which are pleasing to read, I am sure of it :P.
Could some of you express views about what I want to do and possibly how I go about doing it?

I will ask you this, do YOU want to write about games for a living? Is there any shred of doubt about this? It isn't about what you can do but what you WANT to do.

If you're interested in getting into game journalism I would recommend what pedigreechump6 said. Start up your own blog and start writing now. That's how IGN started out in 1994-1996. They bought n64.com and started writing reviews, news and other various things ( see archive.org www.n64.com for this year range for examples of what they did back then ) You just have to do it. Don't hesitate.
