This Games Art course provides opportunities to work on REAL games industry projects and assignments. Your initial concept art will be developed into technically viable 3D games assets for inclusion in cutting edge games engine technology.
Current industry practitioners will tutor you in the development of the personal, academic and technical skills required to be an effective games artist and 3D modeller. You will produce creative, visually dynamic graphical solutions for the Games industry through an exploration of your own Game Art concepts.
A guaranteed entry onto the BA(Hons) ‘Digital Arts Practice’ (Top-Up) is offered to successful graduates of the Foundation Degree.
The BA(Hons) ‘Digital Arts Practice’ (Top-Up) Degree is for anyone interested in an additional year of research and investigation to mature and develop their area of practice within Game Art production. If you are already a graduate from an Art/Design HND or Foundation Degree programme, or have successfully completed the first 2 years of a BA (Hons) course (240 credits), you can gain direct entry onto the BA(Hons) ‘Digital Arts Practice’ (Top-Up)
