What will I learn?
This practical based course is designed to give you the competence in various areas of video and games production and establish an underpinning knowledge in current production and post production techniques. Topics covered include:

What's it worth?
The National Diploma is equivalent to 3 A-levels.
Progression
This course provides opportunities to progress into Higher Education or the job market. Available opportunities include the gaming and interactive media industries, animation and sound production.
Day to day experience
Working in small design teams you will gain experience and a good working knowledge of the latest techniques used in games software, hardware and platforms whilst using your own imagination to create scenarios for new and existing games. You will have the opportunity to work under your own initiative or as part of a creative team to write and produce interactive media contributing to a ‘final major project'.
Time commitment
This is a full-time course, lasting 2 years, and you will spend a minimum of 12-hours at Confetti each week. In addition to this you will be expected to complete coursework in your own time.
Funding
The National Diploma is free for all students under 19 and for those in receipt of benefits or on a low income. International (non-EU) students will be expected to pay fees. Students can continue to claim benefits whilst on the course. Some bursaries are available for assistance with travel and course costs.

Validation
The course is validated through Castle College by Edexcel.
