The Master of Arts in Digital Game Design and Development is an innovative 36-credit interdisciplinary program that provides students with technical, creative and collaborative skills necessary to enter the professional world of digital game design and development. Students are immersed in the serious study of games as a technological, artistic, educational and social form of media. The degree offers a comprehensive and intensive study of the nature and process of digital game design and the underlying principles of human game play. Students collaborate in a team setting on game conception, design, development and production. This program is for serious-minded, highly talented individuals who are passionate about games as a creative medium with potential to contribute to positive social change. This full-time program offers three areas of specialization: Game Programming, Visual Design or Game Design.
