  • The School of Computer Science at the University of Birmingham has an established and growing international reputation for research and teaching in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence. The School has nearly 90 active researchers (academic staff, research staff and research students) and is a close knit community that enjoys a stimulating intellectual environment. Both in teaching and research, our staff and students address issues of importance to the scientific community, business world and government agencies. Our research programmes are supported by a wide range of bodies, including UK and EU Research Councils, overseas governments and universities and UK and multi-national companies.
