Game Development (track in Game Creation and track in Game Programming): The Computer Information Systems Department at Bristol Community College is offering a degree in Game Development with two tracks: Game Creation and Game Programming. The college also offers a 8 course certificate in Computer Game Development. The associates degree program prepares students for entry into the video game industry. During the capstone courses, students work in teams to propose and develop an actual game. THe creation track is for students interested in the overall creation and packaging of a game. The programming track develops a strong programming background which allows students to bring the game action to the screen.
