The University of Michigan Program has undergraduate degree programs in both Computer Science and Computer Engineering, which have been ranked as the 6th best in the country. These programs stress a core of fundamentals, but also allow students to specialize in almost any area of computer engineering and computer science. There are a wide range of classes relevant to computer game developers including advanced software development, software engineering, data bases, networking, and graphics. We also offer a rigorous senior-level design course dedicated to computer game design and development. This class is supplemented by a yearly distinguished lecture series on computer games that brings in computer game developers from around the country.
