With emphases in game design, programming, art/animation and production, BA (Bachelor of Arts), BS (Bachelor of Science), MST (Masters of Science in Technology) Students in the Game Development majors will gain an insight into what is involved at all levels of game development, from theory and concept through project production.
Courses will emphasize essential issues in developing computer and console games including game concepts, programming techniques, platform-specific issues and exposure to current industry standards. Game Programming students will further focus on C/C++ programming, scripting, data handling, problem solving, DirectX /Open GL development, game engine architecture and networking.
Graduating students will have gained the skills required to pursue a career in the field of game production and interactive design.
