The Master of Digital Media (MDM) is
Canada’s first professional graduate program in digital media. Offered at the
Centre for Digital Media in Vancouver BC, this intensive program with
internship engages students in real world projects and coursework that provides
valuable leadership experience, training, and top industry connections.
The MDM is
conferred by The University of British Columbia, Simon Fraser University, Emily
Carr University of Art + Design, and the British Columbia Institute of
Technology. Each of the Centre for Digital Media's partners brings unique
insight to the program and value to students. MDM grads are alumni of all four
institutions.
WOMP! is a collaborative, social multiplayer game played with only one button. Players are challenged to work together to control a customizable flying contraption — the Wobblegong — through a dangerous environment.
Each player is responsible for a single function of the Wobblegong (e.g., flapping a wing), and all interactions in the game are performed with only a single button on the controller.
This physics-based game features a chameleon named Mango that you can immediately fall in love with. Mango is a dashing chameleon, in search of delicious treats to fill his empty belly. When he comes upon a vintage café that has mouthwatering flies in the window he simply can't resist. It's no ordinary café however, he must put some effort into earning his food. The action begins inside the café where Mango swings from his tongue to crash into various objects in order to unleash and eat the delicious flies.
There are 50 exciting levels with a variety of obstacles with different properties, power ups and trophies. Players must think carefully about each swing they take in order to get the highest reward – the Gold Trophy!
