Students enrolled in Computer Graphics & Programming will obtain a two year Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree. Study areas include a general education component and a computer graphics programming core consisting of courses in video game development, digital graphics (Photoshop), 3d modeling and animation, and video game graphics programming.
While most programs will typically make you pick your discipline or focus area, the CGP program at MSU-WP will strive to prepare you as a video game technical artist or what some would refer to as a generalist. With an education in Game Development, Texturing, 3D Modeling, Animation and Game Programming, you will exit the program with the knowledge required to gain entry level employment or possibly become your own independent developer!
Missouri High School students who have participated in the Missouri A+ program can apply those credits at MSU-WP. Arkansas High School students may be eligible for in-state tuition rates. Please contact us for further information.
