The educational objective of the Game Design program is to provide the knowledge, skills, and experience needed to help graduates prepare for career opportunities in a variety of entry-level positions in the field of Game Art and Design as modelers, animation artists, 3-D illustrators, digital artists, FX artists, video post-production artists, and as game designers. The Game Design program educates the student in professional and general education courses through the study of subjects such as gaming technology, game design process, animation, level design. Emphasis will be in designing art in 2D and 3D applications used by the business, education, training and entertainment industries.
The College also offers an A.A.S. degree in Computer-Aided Technology - Multimedia Emphasis, Computer-Aided Technology - Computer-Aided Design Emphasis, and Certificates of Mastery in Computer-Aided Design and Multimedia.
