  • The School of Computing offers a variety of computing courses, including the BSc in Computer Games Technology.

This is currently one of only two computer game programming courses in the UK to have gained the industry-approved Skillset accreditation. The degree aims to provide students with the technical skills required for employment in the field including programming, graphics animation and software engineering.

In addition, the course provides students with the skills required to work in related fields such as computer simulation. The course includes an option of a year’s paid industrial placement in the third year. This may be at home or abroad and is an opportunity to deepen knowledge of the sector and put skills gained into practice.

During the course there will be regular visits and talks from professional game developers. Our graduates are now employed at companies including Rockstar North and Real-Time Worlds or formed their own companies. Contact: Thomas Connolly +44 (0)141 848 3541 Or Uni Direct (UK only): 0800 027 1000
