    Games Development Overview:

    This course will train you to develop software for the games and entertainment industries. You'll learn to be an excellent programmer, using multiple languages, and working with sophisticated games engines, art resources and databases to develop computer games. An important aspect of the course is learning to work as a team member - this is heavily emphasised by the Games Industry - where it is common for teams of 50 or more people to be working on a games project.

    Digital Media Overview:

    This course will train you to specialise in developing interactive multimedia applications for use across a variety of industry sectors, such as online content provision, training, marketing, etc. Hornsby Campus offers the course through the collaboration of the Information Technology and Design sections.

    Programming Overview:  

    This course provides skills in the designing, development and testing of commercial computer software. A person with these skills could provide in-house programming support for a unit or branch within an organisation, or develop programs for a variety of customers.


    TAFE will train you in rigorous methodologies – you will learn how to plan and manage your work and the work of others while complying with enterprise standards. TAFE graduates are renowned for having strong technical skills and for delivering quality results. The qualification you can achieve through this course is part of a suite of qualifications from the National IT Training Package – and as such, the qualification will be recognised Australia-wide.
