The program enables the student to understand the creation and production context in the following 3D creative industries: cinema, television, video games, multimedia, industrial design or simulation, in Quebec and elsewhere in the world. The program is based on the transfer of skills and competencies from one specialization to the next, as well as on the learning of the traditional arts, aestheticism and design principles integrated into the digital arts. From the start of your training and throughout the program, you will delve into the major challenges of 3D animation. Through individual and team projects, you will experience stimulating creation and production situations, very similar to those found in the industry itself, and deepen your own personal creativity. As you progress within the program, you will come to specialize in one of the following fields: modeling, animation, simulation, texture and lighting, digital sets and environments, game design or compositing. The Bachelor’s program allows you to explore and experience the challenges associated with new technologies and to contribute, in a well thought-out manner, to the conceptual and virtual richness of a digital creation project. At the end of the program, you will have produced several complex 3D animation projects that will constitute your artistic work portfolio, which you will be using in your future job search.
