The Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) offers several programs for the aspiring game professional. The B. Thomas Golisano College of Computing and Information Sciences offers both a Bachelors of Science (BS) and a Masters of Science (MS) in the following programs: Game Design and Development, Computer Science, New Media Interactive Development, and Information Technology. Qualified students from other majors may choose to enroll in a game-related minor (see http://igm.rit.edu/minors.)
The College of Imaging Arts and Sciences offers an MFA in Visual Communications Design, and BFA degrees in 3-D Digital Design, New Media Design and Imaging. The College also offers an MFA and BFA in Film and Animation and a BS in Motion Picture Science.
