  • The program focuses on the art and storytelling side of game development. You will learn in a state-of-the-art 3D lab and motion capture studio how to model, texture and animate characters, objects and levels. You will also learn how to apply Motion Capture data to 3D models and how to export them to a game engine. The focus of the program is to see a full convergence of traditional and digital skills for use in the interactive gaming industry.

    This one-year postgraduate program is intended for individuals looking to pursue a career in the exciting field of game art and design. Graduates will undertake intensive specialist training to develop their creative, technical and business skills to compete in the marketplace. The program provides graduates with the opportunity to learn in a project-based environment that focuses on problem solving and project management through team learning.

    Humber College offers a three semester Postgraduate Certificate Program in Games & Interactive Entertainment. The program offers advanced training utilizing Maya, Motionbuilder, Vicon 8 Motion Capture System software. The combination of current industry standard software and the knowledge of our qualified and creative Instructors forms the strong foundation for this new academic program.
