The Bachelor of Computer Science [Honours Game Development Specialization] enriches the game experience with a focus on topics relevant to Computer Game development such as Artificial Intelligence for Computer Games, Multimedia, Team-Oriented Game Development and a game development capstone project in the final year. Our sophisticated Game Development Lab is furnished with Xbox 360 Elites, 32” HDTVs and dual displayed monitors powered by dual core multimedia PCs. Software to support game development includes Maya (for animation), Microsoft Visual Studio and GarageGames Torque X. Students will also have the opportunity work and play with other aspiring game developers through involvement in Mindcrafters (Research Group), CIDER (The Centre for Interactive Digital Entertainment Research), and GIGA (The Guild of Independent Game Authors).
