Yes this is one of those threads where I ask questions that you guys have probably answered 100000 times and for that I apologise.
![]() Anywho, I was just wondering if someone could tell me which of the following courses would have me best prepared for a job in programming in the gaming industry: http://www.tcd.ie/courses/undergradu...urse.php?id=66 (I know this one has a language with it and thats something I'd be interested in) http://www.ucc.ie/en/ck401/ http://www2.ul.ie/web/WWW/Services/M...%20Development http://www2.ul.ie/web/WWW/Services/M...uter%20Systems http://www.gamedevelopers.ie/courses...php?article=27 Most of them seem geared towards software engineering or is that practically the same thing? Last question a lot of job openings I see have experience listed as a requirement, where are you meant to get experience if they only want people with it ![]() Any help is very much appreciated. - Jako Last edited by Jako : 01-01-2009 at 08:56 AM. |

Computer Science is not the same as Software Engineering although companies don't mind degrees in either generally.

I know nothing about the Universities that you have listed although UCC and GDI look decent from face value.
