Which are marketable online education degrees that I can specialize in?

Hi! I’d like to be an educator but I’m not sure which good education degrees that I can specialize in? The ones with good pay and don’t take so long to complete? I’d like to pursue the courses online.

It would help us alot if you are more specific and provide greater detail. Where are you from? What is your current background? What are your interests? What subject do you want to teach? Where do you want to teach and at what level?

From my understanding, in order to teach in the UK at the undergraduate level, you must either have a Masters in the relvent discipline, or be a doctoral canditate. However, in order to teach at secondary schools, you would require a batchelors degree in the relevent subject area and a PGTC (Post-Graduate Teaching Certification).

There are several teaching and education career paths that you can take but you’ll have to have at least an idea which area of work you’d prefer. Do you like elementary teaching? What about special education? You could also acquire a bachelor’s degree in education first to see if you’ll enjoy teaching and working in education institutions.
