Hey everyone. As some words of encouragement I've managed to get paid journalism work, and I've got no education in it (I'm doing a games design/art course). Instead I've been writing for various free sites for about two years. It's not the same as having a degree at all (I didn't realise bigger sites actually had that as a requirement), but I think employers really value past experience, too.

I think it's a requirement for a paid position.
