The resume is important since it is what gets you an interview.

I wouldn't say it was more important than the interview / assessment day itself though, since it is the skills you have that are most important.

True but you are never going to make it that far without a good resume.

Default RE:Resume????

Well, I will say this, I really steered clear of the whole you need a resume and cover letter song and dance. But I have to add that it is really important. I will not underestimate the power of a great resume and cover letter. That goes without saying for any job. My book gives you the option on what to do here. You can either do it yourself or hire someone to do it for you. A poor resume and cover letter is like showing up to a formal in sweat pants. Would you do that?

Smile Resumes are extremely important!

I think a URL REMOVED is important when applying for any job. I got help with my resume from Fast Track English. The site gives resume advice, a template, as well as tips on interviewing. Hope this helps!

A resume is an important marketing tool that communicates your experience, education, skills and accomplishments to a potential employer. The goal of a well-written resume is to make a good first impression and help you move onto the next stage of the job search -- the interview. If you don’t have one…create one today
