Where to get video game pictures

I was wondering, when you start your own website or fanzine on video games and you need pictures to put there, where can you get copyrigth free pictures?

Otherwise, where all the professional magazines get their official pictures we see in their pages?

They get them from the Developers/Publishers or they have permission from them to take their own.
