where to start?

hi, i am in my second year of college going to University afterwards, doing games design/level design or crimonology. now i have not got any background knowlegde of level design, i cant draw very well, and have no profile, i do program tho but not levels not yeat anyway!

i am not sure what to do because i want to do both courses at university but you cant, so... games designing i want to do, but dont really want to live in london. also i have been told it is very very hard to get into games design carrer is this true?

help me out guys!
