Hi. This is whats up.
I wanna make video games. I have limited experience. I worked as a financial consultant. I worked as an orderly and as a teacher’s assistant. Making games has been a lifelong dream I majored in marketing and finance. I want to be associated with video game making. If that is through marketing or finance that is fine but if there is another route then that is all the more fine. So my question is where should I get started? Are there any art courses I should take? Any programming courses I should take? I like drawing reading and writing, is that good? What about my limited experience? How can I break into the biz? I have done some programming but very basic (visual basic) And java. What programming courses can I take to jumpstart my career? Im willing to do what it takes. I started out wanting to study computer science but because of complications (heart surgery) my life took another route and I did business instead Now that I am back on my feet I want to get back on track but I want to make up for the time I lost so yes I am looking for a shortcut but at the same time I am willing to work twice as hard. What do I do????? Where do I start? I am located in Toronto and ubisoft just opened a office here so I am applying there and running in circles doing this on my own. Please help. I would appreciate your expert advice. K-thnx Sincerely |
