Hi, I've seen a mass variety of opinions good and bad, mostly bad about the Game development degree giving by Devry, I was told going to school for Computer Science would make it easier for future jobs and can provide a safety net if the game industry doesn't work out.
I've also been told that Devry provides only a taste of what you really need to know and the degree attained is laugh at by the game industry and the tutition is out this world and not worth paying for. I want to be a successful programmer and get a variety of skills under my belt, I understand its not that the degree that makes you, It's how you apply yourself with what you have, but what would be my best bet? |
