  • In 2005, the first nation wide Interaction and Entertainment Design (IED) program was established in Shu-Te University. This program is aimed to nurture our students in multiple design disciplines: digital multimedia, digital animation, e-learning and digital audio-video effects. Our ultimate goal is to enrich and enhance competence of digital cultivation and creativity of our students.

     

    Based on the related theories and practice, program curriculum integrates humanity, arts, technology, and digital applications. The IED curriculum focus on several professions that includes digital game, digital multimedia, digital animation, e-learning, and digital audio-video effects. The IED curriculum progress skill levels from foundation knowledge to special topics and product publication. Practical experience and internship are integrated into the IED curriculum for further transferring from an academic to a professional.

     

    a.                  Digital game emphasis:

    Content design, character design, set design, animation design, game production, and related curriculum.

     

    b.                  Digital audio-video effects emphasis:

    HDTV film production, Flash design, virtual reality design, 3-D interactive multimedia design, and related curriculum.

     

    c.                  Digital innovation content emphasis:

    Game peripheral product design, e-business, e-learning content production, e-content management, and related curriculum.
