Edison Community College was chartered in 1973 under the Ohio Revised Code as the first general and technical college in Ohio. From modest beginnings to its current campus, located on 131 acres in Piqua, Ohio the enrollment has grown steadily to more than 3000 students in approximately 20 technical fields. The newest technical program was offered for the first time in January 2005.

The Computer Games Programming and Design Option is designed to help students become better prepared for a career in the game industry. Students will be provided with a thorough background in all aspects of the game industry, game development, and interactive design process.
