Founded in 1988, DigiPen Institute of Technology has been a pioneer in interactive entertainment education for offering the first Bachelor’s degree in video game programming in all of North America.
Over the years, DigiPen has been recommended by students and game industry experts as the leading college for game development education and has won recognition for the following achievements:
Earning over 23 awards at the annual Independent Games Festival (more than any other school across the globe), placing student games in the professional competition, and winning the student showcase 3 years running, and
Placing graduates at top companies such as Microsoft, Valve, Bungie, and Nintendo and being surrounded by over 70 different game/animation companies in the Seattle, WA area.
Additionally, DigiPen offers the appeal of a small student body, project based learning, and high placement rates. DigiPen currently offers a master's degree in Computer Science, and bachelor degrees in Real-Time Interactive Simulation (video game sciences), Computer Engineering, Game Design and Production Animation. Undergraduate Tuition is $476 per credit for all U.S. citizens/permanent residents and is $621 per credit for Non-U.S. citizens/permanent residents.

In addition to our degree programs, DigiPen also offers exciting educational opportunities for students in grades 5 and higher to learn about video game development, 3D animation productions, game design and robotics technology. Through DigiPen's ProjectFUN Initiative, these students can experience the world of digital interactive entertainment via summer workshops or online courses. In the fall of 2009, DigiPen launched its first international branch campus in Singapore. In cooperation with Singapore’s Economic Development Board, DigiPen's new campus is located in an area called “One-North,” an ambitious live-work project that connects information technology, communication, and media industries. Students at DigiPen’s Singapore campus will go through the same rigorous education as their Redmond counterparts, and will be poised to take advantage of the rapidly growing Asian digital media sector.
Empyreal Nocturne is a third-person aerial action game in which you combat enormous flying monsters by commanding a legion of birds. The monsters are comprised of connected orbs, which are fiercely defended by birds of its own. All of a monster’s weak points must be destroyed in order for it to be defeated. You play as a god bird with the power to convert birds to your flock, and then command them to attack, defend, or sacrifice themselves for you.

Developed by students at DigiPen Institute of Technology, Tag: The Power of Paint is a free, first-person puzzle platformer which focuses on the players’ ability to modify their environment as they see fit, simply by painting it. Enjoy a unique and emergent gameplay experience, as you traverse each highly stylized level, using your endless supply of paint and all the power that comes with it to make your way to the goal.
