The Games Technology program at Murdoch University's School of Information Technology is a doorway into this exciting and demanding field. The course is designed to provide students with a thorough understanding of the theory, design and programming techniques required for producing software games. Topics covered include games theory, design and programming; advanced graphics techniques including virtual environments; artificial intelligence techniques; multi-player and internet games programming; and games specific software tools. Opportunities exist for studying games technology at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Our graduates are employed in the Games industry, the Simulation industry as well as other sectors of the Information Technology industry.
